Clare Bar/Restaurant Closes After Staff Member Tests Positive For COVID-19

A Clare Bar/Restaurant has announced it is to close its doors until further notice after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

In a post on social media this afternoon, the Cornerstone Bar & Restaurant in Lahinch says the staff member contracted the virus outside of their work environment.

All staff members are now being tested as a precaution and are being asked to follow self isolation and contact tracing protocols.

The bar says all persons who need to be notified have been informed by the HSE’s contact tracing system.
