Clare’s Green party Senator insists the Transport Minister is 100% committed to ensuring that Shannon Airport survives and thrives.

Róisín Garvey’s commments follow the announcement from Ryanair that it will move its bases from Shannon and Cork for the winter season, unless quarantine rules are relaxed.

The Inagh Green Party Senator says Minister Eamon Ryan understands the importance of Shannon Airport to the region and is doing all he can to ensure it’s there for the long haul.
