Claims More Action Is Needed To Maintain Clare Footpaths And Junctions

It’s claimed far too much money is being wasted on court cases over unsafe footpaths and junctions in Clare.

Shannon Councillor Gerry Flynn has called on the local authority to take a more “proactive approach” towards ensuring that the county’s infrastructure is kept to a high standard.

The CEO of Clare County Council has committed to implementing a policy to ensure all four districts have safe facilities for everyone – especially for vulnerable people.
