Carmody: We Need To Build Strength In Depth Of Panel To Take Next Step

Joint Clare Camogie manager John Carmody feels their focus for next season will be on adding depth to their panel in order to progress to the next stage of their development.

A comfortable victory over Offaly saw Clare secure their top tier status for 2023, with four of their six goals coming inside a powerful opening 20 minutes.

A number of prominent players opted not to commit to the county panel this year, with management previously outlining that approaches to several players were unsuccessful.

Carmody feels building the panel to cope with the demands of the season has to be a priority, but praised the effort made by those who did answer the call this year.
