Calls From Clare Farmers For Government To Listen To Concerns On The Ground

The Clare County Chair of the ICMSA is urging the Government to listen to concerns from farmers on the ground amid fears of an uncertain period ahead for the sector.

It comes as a recent report from the Irish Farmers Journal shows Clare recorded the biggest drop in land prices in the country.

Land prices here spiked to more than €11,000 per acre in 2021, and dropped last year to just over €8,650.
