Busy Day Of Club Football Action In Store

There are three games down for decision today in the Clare senior football championship.

The first of those comes in Lissycasey, where Kilmurry Ibrickane and Corofin go head to head.

The North Clare men need the win to get back into contention for a quarter-final spot, while the Bricks will seal their last eight spot with a win.

That one has a 2.30pm start in Lissycasey.

Cratloe are also looking to secure their last eight spot when they face a Kildysart side who lost out to Ennistymon on their first outing since making the step up as intermediate champions.

They meet in Cusack Park at 5pm with commentary on Clare FM with Annie’s Café, Main Street Kildysart.

The final game of the evening comes in Corofin where St Joseph’s Doora Barefield take on St Breckans with a 6.30pm start.

It is also a busy day of action in the Clare intermediate football championship.

The first of today’s games has a 12pm start in Clarecastle as Wolfe Tones face Shannon Gaels.

There is a north Clare derby in Group Two as Ennistymon meet Liscannor in Miltown at 6pm, while there’s a 4pm start in Kilrush as Coolmeen take on Naomh Eoin.

Eire Óg is the venue this evening as Cooraclare face Kilfenora from 6pm.
