Busy Afternoon Of Club Hurling Action With Quarter Final Places Up For Grabs

There are two games down for decision today in the Clare senior hurling championship.

The first of those sees Clarecastle and Scariff looking to move themselves away from the relegation battle in Group Two with both sides having lost their opening round games.

That one has a 2pm start in Cusack Park.

It will be followed by the meeting of Eire Óg and Clooney-Quin, with both sides desperate for points to keep their hopes of making the knockout stages alive.

Throw in this evening is at 5pm with live commentary here on Clare FM in association with O’Sullivan Hansbury Motors, Kilrush Road Ennis.

It is a busy afternoon of action in the intermediate hurling championship with six games down for decision.

The first is at 2pm in Cratloe as Clonlara face Corofin, while at 2.30pm in Clooney, Killanena meet Sixmilebridge.

St Josephs go up against Parteen in Shannon at 4pm, while at 4.30pm Bodyke face Ruan in Newmarket.

It is a 6pm start in Sixmilebridge were O’Callaghan’s Mills meet Tulla and at 6.30pm in Corofin, it is the meeting of Tubber and Inagh-Kilnamona.
