Ballyea’s Gary Brennan says the intensity of the challenge they faced against Ballygunner was a huge challenge to contend with.
A strong final quarter from the All-Ireland champions saw them defend their Munster crown, as they eventually wore down a dogged Ballyea effort.
This year saw Brennan collect his fourth senior hurling medal, having rejoined the panel for the penultimate stages of the championship.
