Boost For Shannon Airport As 30,000 Passengers To Descend On Midwest Facility Over St Patrick’s Weekend

30,000 passengers are expected to descend on Shannon Airport over the St Patrick’s long weekend.

It marks a 24% rise on the same period last year, when 21,000 passengers passed through the Midwest facility.

The bank holiday, which coincides with the annual Cheltenham racing festival, marks the star of the summer season at Shannon Airport, which will see 33 services on offer.
