Scariff-Ogonnelloe have received a timely boost ahead of Saturdays Munster Club final.

Experienced defender Susan Vaughan has been cleared to play after the red card she was shown in their semi final win over Iniscarra was rescinded on appeal.

Vaughan was shown a straight red card for a challenge in the closing stages of the win over the Rebel outfit, with the immediate reaction from management being that they were confident it would be overturned.

The East Clare side face Drom-Inch on Saturday in Mallow in the Munster final with a 3pm start.
