Clare’s minor hurling manager admits it was pleasing to see the way in which his side went about securing their place in the All Ireland final.

Victory over Kilkenny sees the Banner into the decider at the grade for the first time since 2010, and just a fourth in the county’s history.

Galway will provide the opposition in the final on Sunday June 4th, in what is a repeat of the 1997 final which saw Clare win their only All Ireland title at minor level.
