Bobsledder Whose Life Inspired The Movie ‘Cool Runnings’ Discusses Mental Health Resilience

On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Dudley Tal Stokes who was a Jamaican Bobsledder that participated in the 1988, 1992 and 1994 Olympics. The movie ‘Cool Runnings’ is based on his story. Dudley discussed the movie which is based on the Jamaican bobsleigh team, whose debut tournament came at the Olympic Games 1988. On his journey as a bobsledder, he often had to pick himself up after difficult defeats. Therefore, Dudley wishes to inspire men everywhere ahead of International Men’s Day to assist them in picking themselves up in their battle with their mental health.
