On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Bernárd Lynch and his husband Billy Desmond, along with “Falsely Accused” producer and Clare Fm’s Programming Director and Head of Operations Padraic Flaherty. The trio spoke about the documentary about Bernárd’s life “Falsely Accused” which is set to air on Clare FM this Friday 13th of January at 11am. The documentary will give an in depth insight of Bernárd’s life from his early days growing up in St Michael’s Villas to being ordained in Newry and joining the Society of African Missions which in turn led him to move to New York where he cared for aids victims. The documentary will also cover Bernárd’s court case that he faced in the 1980’s for which he ultimately won total exoneration.
