Two Clare players have been chosen on the GAA Higher Education Football Team of the Year.
Kildysart’s Emmet McMahon and Kilmihil’s Ciaran Downes played key roles in UL’s run to the Sigerson Cup final, with McMahon captaining the squad to the decider.
Their bid to claim the title just fell short with defeat against UCC in extra-time.
