Avenue United are eyeing up back to back league and cup doubles this week.
David Russell’s side defended their Clare Cup title with a 2-0 win over Lifford United in this year’s final.
They now host Newmarket Celtic in Roslevan on Wednesday evening in a game to decide the league champions, with the holders needing a win to leapfrog Newmarket at the top of the standings.
