Almost €300,000 in government funding has been made available for six community projects in Clare under the Clár programme.
St. Enda’s National School in Lisdoonvarna and the Kilmurry Ibrickane Community Centre have each received €50,000 for the development of a sensory garden and inclusive playground respectively.
Elsewhere, the Killballyowen Development Company has received over €47,000, there’s over €42,000 for Kilnamona National School, €30,000 for an astro- turf pitch at Kilshanny National School and a further €50,000 for upgrades to Clarisford Park.
In total the Department of Rural and Community Development has allocated just over €292,000 to projects in this county.
