Greyhound Racing Ireland has announced details of a charity fundraising drive, which will see open nights tonight, Saturday and Monday next at tracks across the country.
The Ag Rásaíocht Le Chéil or “Racing Together” initiative is being rolled out at 13 tracks, including Limerick and Galway, with a minutes silence also being held to remember those who have passed away from Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
A programme will be available to purchase at a cost of €2 at venues on each of the nights, with the proceeds going directly to local charities.
