Affordable Housing Will Help Those Locked Out Of Clare Housing Market Onto The Property Ladder Says Ennis Auctioneer

A Clare auctioneer says the availability of affordable housing will provide a stepping stone for those locked out of the housing market in this county.

A new report from the Real Estate Alliance shows a 2% annual rise in the cost of purchasing a three-bed semi detached home in Clare, with the cost in the first three months of this year remaining at €230,000.

First-time buyers made up 55% of the market between January and March, while 5% of sales were completed by buyers moving out of cities, with a view to setting up a home in the banner.
