Action Continues In Opening Round Of Clare Club Hurling Championships

There are three games today in the opening round of the 2021 Clare senior hurling championship.

The first of those is underway at 12pm in Cusack Park as 2018 champions Ballyea take on 2019 intermediate champions Broadford.

The second game in Cusack Park today sees last years beaten finalists O’Callaghan’s Mills take on Clonlara from 2.30pm with live commentary of that one here on Clare FM in association with Ennis Home Furniture, Quin Road Business Park Ennis.

Elsewhere it is a 1.30pm start in Sixmilebridge as Clare Cup champions Feakle take on a Clooney-Quin side who have 2018 All Star Peter Duggan listed on their championship squad.

It is a busy afternoon of action in the Clare intermediate hurling championship with five games down for decision.

The first of those is underway at 1pm as Cratloe face Tulla in Newmarket, while at 2.30pm in Gurteen, Inagh-Kilnamona face Sixmilebridge.

It is a 3pm start in Cratloe for the meeting of Newmarket and Bodyke.

There are two more games at 6.30pm as St Joseph’s and Clonlara meet in Broadford while Smith O’Brien’s take on O’Callaghan’s Mills in Clonlara.
