Nurses say the region’s main hospital is once again the busiest in the country today, as the week begins.
The latest INMO figures show there were 67 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 27 of those on trolleys in the Emergency Department.
The overall figure is more than two dozen more than the next busiest facility.
