A total of 221 staff are now confirmed to be off work within the UL Hospitals Group as a result of COVID-19.
The staff have either been diagnosed as COVID positive, or are being forced to self-isolate.
The number is an increase of the figure of 188 reported on Friday last and most of those affected work at University Hospital Limerick itself.
