Rob Connellan is the organiser of Clare Tag Rugby, who has announced their Spring league, which will commence on April 10th. The Spring league will run on Thursday nights in Lee’s Road. See www.claretagrugby.com for more details and about registering a team. There will also be a registration night on April 2nd – Wednesday night next in Lucas’ Bar in Ennis. Also on today’s show we heard about various charitable events around the county. Ronnie Moloney spoke to us about the second annual Eamon Moloney Charity 10k Run and 5k Walk takes place in Ennis this Saturday – March 29th. It starts at 10.30 (walk) from CBS Ennis and is in aid of Clare Cancer Support / Slainte an Chlair in Kilnamona and Cahercalla Community Hospice. Registration takes place tomorrow Friday from 7 to 8.30 and from 9 to 10.30 on the morning of the run. While Kimberley Clarke discussed an event on the 29th of March in the Bunratty castle hotel in aid of the mid western cancer foundation. The event starts at 7pm with the Shannon gospel choir and drink reception followed by a 3 course meal with magician David Walsh, live entertainment, dj, a raffle spot prizes and games! She organised the event as her mother was treated for Non Hodgkin's lymphoma in the unit 2 years ago. The unit looked after her so well she felt compelled to help them in some way.
