The Afternoon Show Monday February 3rd 2014

On today’s Afternoon Show Máire spoke with David Rodgers from Met Eireann about the latest storm conditions and the outlook for the week ahead. Earlier today Clare County Council said the risk posed by tidal flooding along the Atlantic coast and Shannon Estuary has “abated to some degree during the past 36 hours”, but are urging land, home and business owners in flood prone locations to remain vigilant. David talked about how the inclement weather is set to continue into next weekend.

Philip Moreau, our resident Gardening Expert from Glenbrook Nurseries in Tuamgraney was in studio to answer all of your gardening and horticulture queries – he talked about replanted acres and hostas and gave tips on deterring those pesky rabbits and how to deal with water logged soil.  Text your questions to Clare FM 53030 or email [email protected]
