The closing date for late applications to the CAO is May 1st and the Change of Mind facility opens to students on 5th May. Deirdre Ryan and Catriona Lowry from Rover Rescue joined Máire in studio to talk about May Day for Animals. This Thursday May 1st is a special day for animal lovers across the county – Catriona and Deirdre have organised MayDay for Animals – an awareness and fundraising day where people will tie a balloon to their home or office to remember animals that need rescue, to celebrate those have been rescued and to highlight animal welfare in general.
