Wednesday’s Morning Focus Show was jam packed with interesting topics.

The show kicked off with chats of the last night of Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2016. After months of planning and preparing, the Fleadh was a massive success. The streets of Ennis saw hundreds of thousands of visitors passing through.

Following that, Adrian Cummins, CEO of the Restaurants Association Ireland, came onto the show to talk to Gavin about VAT maintenance.

Next, Gavin spoke to Pat O’Toole from the Farmer’s Journal about the threat against farming union funds amid the levies row.

To begin the final hour of the show, Gvin was joined by Sergeant Joe Downey as part of the ‘Garda Focus’ segment.

Then, Clare FM’s Fiona Cahill talked to Caoimhín O Sé, the presenter of the West Wind podcast, about the highlights of the Fleadh.

After that, Gavin discussed Heritage Week in Clare with Sheila Downes, Environmental Assessment Officer at Clare County Council.

To close the show Gavin hosted the Monday Sports Panel with Derrick Lynch and Syl O’Connor.
