Former FG Senator and TD for Clare, Madeline Taylor-Quinn told Gavin there are some tensions as grassroots members and councillors favour Minister Coveney while the constituency’s Oireachtas members have backed Minister Varadkar. The popular novel ‘Private Peaceful’ by Michael Murpurgo has been adapted for the stage and comes to glór in Ennis soon. Gavin was joined on the line by Simon Reade, adaptor and director of the play.

Janet Woods was Gavin’s next guest. Janet is a teacher and a soprano and she’s organised a concert to raise funds for Pieta House in memory of her brother, Andrew.
