Morning Focus Tuesday November 8

The Town of Ennis won’t see a major commercial or district centre proceeding on the Limerick Road, after members of Ennis Town Council chose not to vary the local development plan for such purposes
It’s seen as a blow for plans by Michael Lynch Limited and Tesco to build a large retail unit on their site at Tobartascan, but does NOT rule out their development going ahead in some form
The Ennis and Environs plan was up for discussion at last evening’s meeting of Ennis Town Council
ON Tuesday’s Morning Focus John Cooke spoke with Ger Dollard, Ennis Town Manager, Brian O’Neill, Local Restaurateur, Brian Meaney, Green Party Ennis Town Councillor, Frankie Neylon, Independent Ennis Town Councillor and John Dillane, President of the Ennis Chamber for reaction.

Seamus Lynch of Michael Lynch Ltd was contacted and invited to comment
