Homeowners across Clare are being reminded that the must inform Revenue by tomorrow of their preference.
While phone lines have been extremely busy with over 19 thousand calls placed to the national helpline yesterday, Revenue are urging people to be patient.

He joined John in studio to speak about an initiative that aims to encourage people to shop locally this Christmas will benefit not only Ennis businesses but also charities
The Charity Voucher Booklet is David’s idea- almost 70 businesses are involved and 6 local charities will get half the proceeds of every book sold
The charities set to benefit are Clarecare, Caring for Carers, Cahercalla Community Hospital, The Disabled People of Clare and Paw Pourri.
Books are €30 each with €15 for each book sold going to the charities.
The Ronald McDonald House is an independent charity that provides a home away from home for families who have to relocate at short notice to Crumlin Children’s Hospital to care for their seriously ill child. It’s an extremely stressful and difficult time when caring for a seriously ill child and the house really becomes a home for families for sometimes months on end
RMHC has provided for over 2,445 families through out Ireland since 2004, of which 111 have come from Clare
The major annual fundraiser, McHappy Day is coming up on this Saturday – all McDonald’s restaurants in Ireland will donate 1 euro for every Big Mac sold on the day

He stressed to dog owners that livestock are very vulnerable right now and to keep their dogs under control
