The people of Clare have said YES to the EU Fiscal Treaty Referendum – and by a large majority
65.7 per cent of voters in the Banner County gave their backing the new European Budgeting Rules,  34.3 per cent voted no
Just under half of those registered to vote in Clare cast their ballot

Several senior civil servants from a number of government departments will makeup the overall steering group which in turn will oversee the work of two taskforces- an Aviation Business Development group and another to oversee the change of management

The Clare Camogie team won their first senior provincial title since 1946 on Saturday with a 0-9 to 0-7 win over the current national Camogie league champions Cork

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service have launched a new campaign which aims to increase public awareness of blood types and to encourage donors to bring their friends or "buddies" along with them when giving blood
The campaign also aims to sustain Ireland’s blood supply throughout the upcoming challenges of the June Bank Holiday, the good weather, Leaving Cert exams and the European Championships
