The first edition of Morning Focus of the New Year met some of Clare’s brightest young entrepreneurs, when Gavin was joined in studio by Ciara O’Halloran of Redbank Food Co and Cristína Ní hici of Céile.
The show opened with a discussion of the possibility of a fodder crisis in Clare. Gavin was joined on the line by Clare Chair of the IFA, Willie Hanrahan.
The issue of rising bills, especially as people aim to manage their budgets in the New Year, was then discussed when Gavin was joined by Eoin Clare of switcher.ie.
Dep Timmy Dooley was next up as he discussed what he considers to be preferential treatment by Facebook of Government ministers. He spoke to Morning Focus producer, Fiona McGarry. Listen back below:

Then, it was the turn of some of the Banner’s best emerging entrepreneurs to take to the mics. Gavin was joined by Ciara O’Halloran, Best Young Entrepreneur in the Clare heats of the IBYE Awards and by Christína Ní hicí, who’s business ‘Ceile’ won the Best Start-Up category. Listen back below:
