Morning Focus – Thursday 27/07/17

Thursday’s Morning Focus had a mix of news and views with confirmation that renowned dancer Michael Flatley will officially launch Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2017 in Ennis.

The show opened with a discussion of proposed changes to charges for taxi services. Gavin was joined in studio by Martin White of AAA Taxis, Ennis.

Then we heard the heart-warming and poignant story of the Newmarket doctor who stepped in to support the sisters of a young girl who passed away aboard a flight diverted to Shannon last Christmas Eve.
