Fundraisers have been taking place across the county to send aid to those in the Philippines that have suffered as a result of the super storm.
The latest appeal is taking place in Shannon to provide the red cross with supplies will go to Cebu city.
A food and medicine drop in is taking place at the Skycourt Shopping Centre.
Paz added that she wants to appeal to Filipinos in Clare to get in touch with the group if they need support during this emotional time

Ennis Solicitor John P Shaw is President of the Law Society of Ireland
John began his term as President for the year 2013/14 earlier this month
He is a partner in the law firm Michael Houlihan & Partners and Clare County Council’s solicitor
John joined John in studio and explained he will serve a one-year term as president of the 14,000-strong solicitors’ profession until November 2014
During his term in office he’ll oversee the implementation of many of the recommendations of the Future of the Law Society Task Force Report.
Last Thursday night a man was taken to hospital after his van crashed through the glass door of Barry Lynch’s Centra shop on the Gort Road in Ennis
The incident destroyed one window, and leaving shards of glass and stock strewn over the shop floor
Miraculously nobody was seriously injured – Barry Lynch spoke with John about this incident
He thanked the customers who were there, his staff and the emergency services, including three units from of the fire service from Ennis, who were at the scene moments after the accident occurred.

Senior Archaeologist with the National Monuments Service Dr. Ann Lynch will give a talk on Poulnabrone ‘a tomb for the earliest farmers in the Burren’ on Wednesday at 8.30pm in Tubber Village Hall
She’s a graduate of UCC, with a research interest in prehistory, she has directed excavations at some of Ireland’s premier monuments including Newgrange, Dublin Castle and, of course, Poulnabrone
