The treatment given to a 101 year old Clare woman at University Hospital Limerick has been described as "inhumane" and "unacceptable". The woman’s family say she had to wait five hours for an ambulance to the hospital last week, and that she then spent 25 hours on a trolley in its Emergency Department.The INMO has called for the Health Service Executive to carry out a full review of the case. Meanwhile, the UL Hospitals Group says it apologises to any patient who is forcd to wait for treatment at Dooradyle. Independent Cllr Ann Norton, Ennis and Mary Fogarty INMO Spokesperson joined John on the show to give their reaction to this disturbing case.

David Courtney of High Trees Crematorium Ballinasloe Co Galway, Crematorium Designer And Shareholder spoke to John about their constuction process of a crematorium, that they say will be the first in the West of Ireland. Outlining the elements of their design including the size and location of the crematorium site, David says it is located away from any residential area and is over 20 acres. Something that Charlie Murray Shannon Crematorium Residents Committee Spokesperson was keen to highlight and compare to the suggested plans for the crematorium in Shannon, that would see it esablished on a site of 1.3 acres – he also spoke to John, reiterating the residents concerns. 

Milford Care Centres Compassionate Communities Café Conversations begin to travel around the towns and villages in County Clare, they were in Killaloe recently, they are due in Glor Ennis at the end of the month and Monday morning they are in the Family Resource Centre in Shannon – trying to get the conversation going about death and dying something we are all unfortunately faced with. Rebecca Lloyd of Milford's Care Centre's Compassionate Community told us they are trying to normalize death for people that while we often concentrate on the fight to stay alive which is so important, we also need to feel comfortable with death – making that fight less stressful, less painful for us and our family.

Niamh O' Reilly Sleep Consultant and Author of No Fuss Baby and Toddler Sleep spoke to us next with tips and advice for exhausted parents struggling to get their babies or toddlers to sleep.
