A man remains in Garda custody in connection with the seizure of more than a million euro worth of cash over the weekend – the discovery was made as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime – after a man was found digging up cash in a field in Portcrusha, Montpelier on Saturday
A 53-year-old man was arrested and is being questioned at Henry Street Garda station under the Drug Trafficking Act
A second man was also arrested – he’s been released without charge.
