At the top of the show, we reviewed the morning’s papers before speaking to Deputy Timmy Dooley about Fianna Fáil and the Confidence & Supply agreement. Is the deal only being held up due to Brexit fears?
Next, Gavin Grace spoke to Joe Killeen from the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation about the logistics for the education sector at the prospect of a no-deal Brexit. They discussed what that might mean for teachers who commute over the border.
Dr Simon Berrow was our next guest, talking live in studio with Gavin about the event this evening in Kilkee, where sea faring and whale watching stories will be shared. There will also be a screening and a talk about the Celtic Mist, a vessel that traveled to Iceland last summer in search of humpback whales.

Gavin Grace talked genaeology with Paddy Waldron next, who is holding a talk tomorrow entitled ‘Tales from the Annals: Clare Surnames and Y-DNA’. It looks at family names and tracing family trees.
Gavin then took a call from Kitty Leyden, a regular Clare FM listener from Tulla, to tell us about her experience of phone scams. Most recently, they rang her five times called posing as Eir and asking for personal details.
