Monday’s episode of Morning Focus featured an exclusive interview with ‘Making A Murderer’ defence attorney, Dean Strang. Gavin and Dean talked about the hit Netflix documentary, as well as, Mr. Strang’s lectures at the University of Limerick.

Following Gavin’s interview with Dean Strang at 9 am, he spoke to local priest, Fr Brendan Quinlivan, about the concerns surrounding the lack of mass attendance from Confirmation candidates.

Then, Gavin discussed a bar code that’s making waves at it aims to keep female patrons safer with Darragh McAlliser, Chairperson at Clare VFI and owner of Lucas’ Bar in Ennis. Listen Below:

At 10 am, Gavin hosted the Garda Focus segment with the aid of Sergeant Joe Downey, Clare Crime Prevention Officer.

Next, Gavin spoke to Theresa Donoghue of Clare Public Participation Network, about a bill to ban fossil fuel exploration.

After that, Gavin discussed the implementing sugar tax that will increase the cost of sugary products, in particular, fizzy drinks, with Chris Meaney, head of Advocacy at the Irish Heart Foundation.

Then, Gavin talked to David Hall, director at the Irish Mortgage Holders Association, about unpaid mortgages and repossession in Ireland.

At 11 am, Gavin hosted the Monday Sports Panel with Derrick Lynch, Clare FM Sport, David O’Brien, former Clare football selector, and Jim Madden, Clare FM soccer analyst. Listen Below:
