This morning’s show was packed full with local goodness. We had our weekly Friday Panel, heard about the proposed market in Kilkee and a new political party founded in Clare.
At the top of the show, Gavin Grace spoke to Gearóid O’Briain, CEO at FlyRyte Drone Academy following the delay of all flights caused by a drone. O’Briain discussed the laws associated with drone-flying and whether we need to increase those limits.
Next, Irish-Australian David Barrett was live in studio to talk about his new political party, the Moderate Party. He is based in Clare and he is aiming to balance the extremes in Irish Politics.

Our next guest was Cillian Murphy, Tourism Consultant, to share plans of creating a community market in Kilkee in order to increase daytime and midweek footfall to the seaside town. There will be a public information on February 27th at the Stella Maris Hotel for more details!
This week’s Friday Panel was made up of William Cahir, a Solicitor based in Ennis; Bob Vernon, retired Anglican Minister and Gearóid Howard a solicitor based in Shannon. Hosted by Gavin Grace, the panel spoke about everything from lay people officiating funerals, Rory McIlroy’s absence at the Irish Open to the burning question: what would you do if you won the recent Euromillions jackpot of €175 million?

Finally, we had live music from Eugene Garrihy and Kevin Griffin ahead of the 25th annual Russell Memorial weekend which runs until Sunday.
