Friday’s episode of The Morning Focus Show was overflowing with illustrious topics and guests.
The show commenced at 9am when Gavin introduced Fíachra Ó Cionnaith, political correspondent for the Irish Examiner. They discussed the apple appeal issue that the cabinet is due to expel.
Next, Gavin discussed the union call for hospitality sector VAT rate to be increased with, Ethel Buckley from SIPTU, and Aidan McGrath, member of the Restaurants Association.
After that, Gavin spoke to a Clare woman by the name of Roisín Ní Garbhaith who is looking for all of your leftover tents from Electric Picnic to bring to immigrants overseas.
To Finish up the first hour, Gavin chatted with Clare County Arts Officer, Siobhan Mulcahy about the upcoming arts events in the local areas.
The friday panel commenced at 10am. gavin was joined by Gabriella Hanrahan, Ronan Judge, and Manuel Di Lucia. They discussed topics such as the conditions of Clare roads, memories of your first day at school and more.
Following that, Gavin talked to Councillor Pat Burke and Mike Cassidy about the family orientated events occurring during the weekend.
To Finish the show, Gavin heard from the inventor of the Back Baller, Noel Marshall. They talk about the launch of the ‘Back Baller’ at the Shannon Oaks Hotel in Shannon tonight at 8pm.
