Clare FM’s reporter Ryan Hanton took to the streets of Ennis to discover what the local people believe the solutions to the huge issue of homelessness are.

Una Burns from Novas told us about the development of a new family hub in Ennis. The family hub which has been promised by Clare County Council to tackle homelessness is due to open in the coming months.

We also have our regular segment ‘Garda Focus’ with Clare Crime Prevention Officer, Tríona O’Rourke.

In the second hour of the show we had our regular segment ‘Financial Advice’ with Tommy Corbett, Carey Corbett Financial Solutions, Ennis. This week’s subject was critical illness cover.

We spoke to Former Clare Senior Hurling Manager Davy Fitzgerald about his new autobiography ‘At all Costs.’ The autobiography is an account of one of GAA’s most talked-about personalities and Davy also confronts his list of controversies and arguments as well as his stellar achievements.

Then, Clare County Dog Warden, Frankie Coote joined us live in studio for his regular segment ‘Animal Welfare.’

In the final hour of Morning Focus we had the weekly Sports Panel with St. Joseph’s Miltown Malbay Manager, Michael Neylon and Clare FM Football Analyst Joe Garry.

Clare FM Head of Sport Derrick Lynch also spoke to the victorious St. Joseph’s players after the Clare Senior Football Final at the weekend.

We heard from Dean Power and Richard McGrath about their concert at St. Columba’s Church, Ennis this Thursday (November 1). The concert will start at 7:30pm and will feature Lieder, Chanson and Aria with a focus on music from composers who were involved in World War I.

Michael Moloney, Voice of Peace informed us about a three-day retreat at St. Flannan’s College which takes place this Friday (November 2). The retreat will include talks, praise and worship, healing services, spiritual sharing, eucharistic celebrations and music.
