Killarney could prove Bridge too far for Kilmurray

Clare champions Kilmrurray Ibrickane take to the roads of Kerry tomorrow to take on Dr Crokes in their pitch just yards away from the heart of Kerry football-Fitzgerald stadium.

The challenge that awaits them will one they will be used to in training as both sides play a simlar style.

Dr Crokes are known as the hand passing possession masters of Kerry football and to kick away a ball could result in substitution for an unfortunate player.

As well as that they have built an incredible bond and play that style all the way up as underage sides which means players know exactly what to do in any match situation.

Kilmurray ibrickane also play a style in a simalr vein to Dr crokes and their success in Clare has been based ona running game-players off the shoulder and accurate score taking-

Both Crokes and Kib tend to use possession and take their chances-something tomorrows winner will be most noticable by-economy of possession.

The similarity of the teams will be sure to set up for an interesting encounter as well as the huge prize at stake.

Whoever wins on Sunday will be favourites to win the championship but if Kilmurray are to be successful they will need to shut down Crokes midfield-keep the game tight and not conceded any early goals while also keeping the scoreboard ticking over-sounds easy-not so when you have Colm cooper on the team sheet.

If Kilmurray are to be in another munster final they will need luck and the hard edge they have shown over the edge-Crokes are young but experience and in front of their home crowd you would expect them to march into anotehr Munster final.
