Clare boss Wayne Freeman has named a strong side for Sunday’s opening game of the LIDL Ladies National Football League.
Eight of the starting team for the trip to Wexford also started in the All Ireland intermediate final loss to Kildare, including captain Caoimhe Harvey, Laurie Ryan, Chloe Moloney and top scorer Fidelma Marrinan.
Roisin Considine returns to the squad having spent last season in London, while the Doohan sisters Rebecca and Joanna join fellow Kilmurry Ibrickane duo Ciara McCarthy and Ciara Hickey in the starting line up.
Sunday’s game is set for a 2pm in Taghmon, Co Wexford.
