Avenue United will be hoping to bridge a gap of over a decade since they were last in the quarter-finals of the Munster Junior Cup this weekend.
David Russell’s side host Mungret Regional FC in Roslevan on Sunday afternoon, with the Limerick outfit having overcome Newmarket Celtic in the previous round.
Avenue are unbeaten so far in all competitions this season, but were held to their first scoreless draw last weekend by Newmarket in their league showdown.
