Eire Óg boss Paul Madden feels they are facing a serious test of their credentials as champions in Sunday’s Clare senior football quarter-final.

The Townies put their title on the line when they take on Clondegad in Cusack Park, with injury concerns for the holders to contend with.

County star Ciaran Russell is likely ruled out of action, having been forced off late in their hurling championship win over Inagh-Kilnamona.
