Minister Says Housing For All Plan ‘Delivering’ For Clare

The income threshold limit to access social housing in Clare has increased to €30,000.

The eligibility limit for a single person has increased from €25,000 to €30,000, while a family of four with an income of €33,000 will now qualify for social housing.

Meanwhile, the Minister for Housing insists the Housing For All plan is delivering for Clare.

552 new homes have been built in the year to the end of June, 423 commencement notices were submitted by the end of July and planning permission for 642 homes in the county were granted in the first quarter of 2022.

Minister Darragh O’Brien, is hailing the ‘ambitious’ plan as a success for the county and the region.
