Clare IFA Chair Says Further Engagement With Department Needed On CAP

The Clare Chair of the IFA says further engagement between farmers and the Department of Agriculture is needed on CAP proposals before the end of the year.

Farmers held a protest in Dublin over the weekend over Government policies that they say will ‘decimate’ the sector.

Schemes worth over nine billion euro under CAP from 2023 to 2027 were announced last month.
