Sixmilebridge Sweating On Fitness Concerns As Townie Tussle Looms

Sixmilebridge are sweating on the fitness of two key players ahead of their Clare senior hurling quarter final against Eire Og tomorrow.

County star Cathal Malone is in a race against time to recover from a hamstring injury while Jamie Shanahan is also understood to be doubtful for a place in the starting line up.

The holders, who are bidding to win a third consecutive title for the first time in their history, came through the group stages unbeaten with victories over Clarecastle, Wolfe Tones and Scariff.
