A project tipped to take place in the Shannon region at the forefront of the marine renewable energy sector is to be unveiled in Kildysart next week.
It’s happening ahead of the testing in Shannon Estuary of a 60KW hydro-kinetic turbine close to Canon Island by a Rathkeale based company.
DesignPro Automation was awarded 2.7 million euro from the EU to develop river turbines.
