Warning Over Leaving Pets In Cars In Warm Weather

Pet owners are being urged not to leave animals unattended in their car during this spell of warm weather.

It comes as an investigation has been launched into the discovery of a distressed dog, which was left in a car parked in a hotel car park in Ennis yesterday.

Gardaí broke a car window to free the pet and Clare’s county dog warden, who was also alerted, took the animal into care where a full examination was carried out by a vet.
