Concern In West Clare Over Apparent Delay To Miltown Malbay Water Works

Concern is being expressed in West Clare after an apparent delay to essential works to be carried out on the Miltown Malbay water mains.

Irish Water had previously committed to carrying out refurbishment works by the end of last year, or in the first quarter of 2020, but the latest update from the utility says that no start date has been set.

A motion is to be put before Clare County Council at the February meeting on Monday, calling for clarity on the future of the project.
