The Manager of the Clare Crusaders claims there’s a serious lack of respite services for all children with disabilities.

Barefield Councillor Ann Norton is commenting in light of a report from the Children’s Ombudsman, who’s said a girl known as “Molly”, who has Down Syndrome, was failed by a lack of co-ordination between Tusla and the HSE.

Niall Muldoon has called for a respite action plan to be made available for all children in care to stop similar problems in the future.
